Meritage opens new models at Mountain's Edge master plan

Summer Trail and Watermarke, the two newest Meritage Homes developments within Mountain's Edge, have opened models, according to Jeannette Murphy, vice president of marketing for Meritage Homes, Las Vegas Division.

"Between Summer Trail and Watermarke, there's a home plan for virtually everyone," Murphy said. "Some buyers are drawn to Watermarke's affordability and the low-maintenance condominium lifestyle. Others picture themselves living in a two-story home with six bedrooms at Summer Trail."

Situated along the southernmost end of Mountain's Edge, Summer Trail is a gated neighborhood of two-story home designs ranging from 2,318 to 3,028 square feet.

Layouts offer as many as six bedrooms, two- or three-car tandem garage and up to four baths. Structural variations, based on floor plan, include covered patios, lofts, dens and master retreats. Prices start in the upper $300,000s.

Each floor plan offers three exterior elevations inspired by Spanish Colonial, Tuscan or Southern Italian architecture.

The builder's gated, Watermarke condominium development within Mountain's Edge, offers four designs. Floor plans measure 1,085 to 1,549 square feet with up to three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.

Each design features a two-car direct-access garage. Great-room and traditional layouts feature decks, patios, walk-in closets, kitchen pantries, linen closets and fireplaces with media niches, based on home design.

Custom driveway pavers, granite countertops and GE appliances are included. The condominiums are priced from the mid-$200,000s.

The development includes an exclusive resident clubhouse with fitness center, entertainment great room and billiards room. Outdoor highlights will include a fireplace, swimming pool and spa area with a shade canopy.

For a limited time, the builder offers grand opening incentives offered at both neighborhoods with the use of the preferred lender, according to Murphy.

To visit, take Interstate 15 south, exit at Blue Diamond Road and travel west to Buffalo Drive. Turn south on Buffalo and proceed past Mountain's Edge Parkway. For more information, call the sales gallery at 643-1800.

To visit Watermarke, take Interstate 15 south, exit at Blue Diamond Road and travel west to Durango Drive. Turn south on Durango, then left into the development. For more information, call 730-2800.

The model homes at both neighborhoods are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except Monday when they open at 11 a.m. To learn more about Meritage Homes communities, visit meritagehomes-nv.com.
