Newlyweds Martha and Jerry Cornwell found exactly what they were looking for when they purchased the Declaration floor plan at KB Home's Liberty at Huntington.
"It suits us," said Martha Cornwell. "We love that the community is close to town, yet it's right up against the mountains. We love the design of our home. It has the just the right amount of space for our lifestyle. And it's all within our budget."

The couple moved into their new home, the first for both, in November.
"We can get to work in 15 minutes. There's tons of shopping in the area and it's growing so we expect more," said Martha Cornwell.
At 1,298 square feet, their home features two bedrooms, loft, upstairs bath, family room, kitchen, nook and half-bath downstairs.
"We don't need a lot of bedrooms. We're in the master bedroom and the extra bedroom is for guests. If we do ever need another bedroom, we can convert the loft. Right now, the loft is a perfect home office," said Jerry Cornwell.
"What really stood out to us, compared to the other homes we looked at, is that the home doesn't have any wasted space. There aren't any areas where we wondered what we'd put there. We didn't want to have to buy more furniture or stuff to fill space we would never otherwise use," said Martha Cornwell.
The couple shares their space with two cats, a dog and a new puppy.
"The cats have claimed the upstairs space as their turf and the dogs' turf is downstairs. They worked it out amongst themselves," said Cornwell.
Liberty at Huntington features eight two-story floor plans ranging from 1,267 to 1,608 square feet. The homes offer two to four bedrooms, 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths and one-car garages. Homes at Liberty at Huntington start in the low $200,000s.
"Between what the two of us were paying in rent separately, our house payment is actually lower," said Martha Cornwell.

The sales office is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except for Monday when it opens at noon.
