Grand openings: Del Webb on fast trackSPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE
Del Webb's calendar is full this weekend. Today, the developer celebrates the grand opening of its model-home village at Sun City Aliante and the start of presales at Solera at Anthem. Tomorrow, the company unveils a new model village at Sun City Anthem. Each community is designed for residents age 55 and older. Festivities at Sun City Aliante in North Las Vegas will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. They include entertainment, prizes and a radio remote. "We're excited about our new ... adult community and to showcase its new model homes," senior sales manager Lorraine Roberts said. "Our new home collections represent the casual yet elegant lifestyle buyers have come to expect from Del Webb." Buyers can choose from three collections and seven floor plans, which are priced from the mid-$140,000s to the mid-$230,000s. The Wildflower Collection is comprised of three models, ranging from 1,155 to 1,424 square feet with two or three bedrooms and two baths. Two models are featured in the Cypress Collection: the 1,576-square-foot Laurel with two bedrooms, two baths and an optional casita; and the Cedar, a 1,716-square-foot home with three bedrooms, two baths, a great room and patio. The Preserve Collection features two designs: the Helena, which measures 1,920 square feet with two bedrooms, two baths, a den and optional covered patio; and the Coronado, which offers two or three bedrooms, two baths, a library and great room in 2,105 square feet. The age-qualified component of the 1,905-acre Aliante master-planned community, Sun City Aliante surrounds an 18-hole, 6,900-yard, par-72 public golf course. Among the resident amenities will be a fitness center, swimming pool, clubs, tennis and bocce. To tour the models, take U.S. Highway 95 to Centennial Parkway and exit east. Take Frontage Road to Interstate 215, turn left and drive to 7390 Simmons St. Solera at Anthem is part of the Anthem master-planned community in Henderson. Presales begin today for four floor plans, ranging from 1,140 to 1,771 square feet and priced from $165,900 to $214,150. To visit the presales office, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway, turn left on Anthem Parkway and proceed to 2246 Somersworth Drive, which is across from a fire station. Office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Also located within Anthem is Sun City Anthem, where 12 models open tomorrow. Planned festivities include a radio remote and prizes. "Three new collections feature homes ranging from 1,496 to 3,175 square feet," sales manager Jim Bond said. "We have tried to think of everything for these homes. That includes the advantages of Energy Star and other energy-conserving features, as well as the integrity of the Del Webb name." The Colonial Collection is comprised of three floor plans, ranging from 1,496 to 1,712 square feet. Two or three bedrooms are featured, and dens and casitas are optional, per plan. Two-car garages are standard in these homes, which are priced from $196,200. Five floor plans, ranging from 1,840 to 2,014 square feet, comprise the Capital Collection. Homes with two or three bedrooms and two baths are available. Dens and casitas are optional. Two-car garages are standard. Prices start from $235,200 to $287,900. Four designs in the Revolutionary Collection offer dual master bedrooms, two to 3 1/2 baths, dens, a living and dining room, and two- or three-car garages. Golf cart storage, per plan, is optional. Floor plans measure from 2,592 to 3,175 square feet, and are priced from $325,800 to $375,000. To visit Sun City Anthem, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway, turn left on Anthem Parkway and then turn right on Alexandria Drive. Models are open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The community is home to The Revere at Anthem Golf Club, which offers two championship golf courses: Lexington and Concord. Central to the community is Anthem Center, which hosts special events, club meetings and dining at Trumpets Restaurant. Also featured is a fitness center that provides exercise equipment, indoor and outdoor pools, walking tracks and wellness programs.
