-- Windom Kimsey, a partner in Tate Snyder Kimsey Architects, has been named a Fellow and a Chairman of Design for the American Institute of Architects. Only three other Nevadans have received the title of Fellow, while there have been fewer than 40 such chairs in the institute's history. Kimsey will be recognized at the 2004 National AIA Convention and Expo June 11 in Chicago.

-- R. Wayne Shupe has been named president and chief operating officer of Old Republic Title Holding Co. In his new post, Shupe oversees all of the company's title and escrow operations in six Western states, including Nevada. Based in California, Shupe has been with the company for 10 years and most recently served as executive vice president and chief operating officer.

-- SR Construction completed construction of the clubhouse at DragonRidge Country Club at MacDonald Highlands in Henderson. The two-story, 29,000-square-foot facility includes a swimming pool, fitness center, formal and informal dining areas, and a pro shop. Construction costs were about $6.8 million.

-- CB Richard Ellis' Jeff Swinger and Spencer Ballif represented The Crossing Apartments in the sale of 384 units at 2312 Green Valley Parkway to WLA Investments for $21 million. In another transaction, Jeremy Green represented the Donald W. Thomas Trust in the five-year lease of 20,115 square feet at 5321-5329 Cameron St. to THC of Nevada for $1.13 million. Green and Suzette La Grange represented the Z-Partnership in the sale of 14,081 square feet at 440 Mark Leany Drive to Frank T. Munoz for $1.16 million. Green and Donna Alderson represented Carbin Industrial Properties in a five-year lease of 7,500 square feet at 595 Corinthian Way to Winnelson Las Vegas for $450,000. Jayne Cayton represented American Nevada Co. in a two-year lease of 5,424 square feet at 2260 Corporate Circle to Aiken and Associates for $184,000.

-- Charles W. Witters and David Flynn of Lee and Associates represented Full Spectrum Lending in its 60-month lease of 3,297 square feet at 2500 Buffalo Drive from NTC1 for $390,967. In another transaction, Scott Owens and Mel Koich represented Southern Nevada Teamsters Local 631 in its 62-month lease of 31,680 square feet at 4601 E. Cheyenne Ave., Suite 103, from DP Partners, represented by Brad Meyers, for $644,120.

-- E. John Sweetland III of Sweetland Industrial Realty represented Highway 15 in its sale of 5,020 square feet at 9350 W. Tropicana Ave. to 9350 W. Tropicana, represented by Sean Clavir and Sweetland, for $1.26 million.

-- David Abraham of Power Realty represented William Bossak in the sale of 3,375 square feet at 3115 S. Eastern Ave. to Solomon Javier for $513,000. Abraham also represented HomeTeam Pest Defense in its three-year lease of 2,652 square feet at 3205 W. Tompkins Ave., Building C, from the Equus Management Corp., represented by Robert Lujan, for $78,287.

-- Jim Lopes of Coldwell Banker Commercial represented P9 in its purchase of 4,000 square feet at 4880 W. Flamingo Road from Kaymar Properties, represented by Lisa Anderson of MDL Group, for $1.5 million. Ed Bassford represented College Park Realty in its 24-month lease of 5,520 square feet at 1325 Vegas Valley Drive, Suites A and E, to the Democratic Party of Nevada, represented by Jack Vickers of Vista Group, for $81,696.

-- GVA Industrial Property Group's Dean Willmore and Bill Walsh represented both parties in Unit Chemical Co.'s purchase of a 28,054-square-foot building at 7360 Commercial Way in Henderson from Magnum Opus Development Co. for $2.01 million. Jeff Barton and Richard Luciani represented both parties in the Education Support Employees Association's three-year lease of 3,000 square feet at 3505 E. Flamingo Road from H&S Sherman for $106,056. Walsh and Barton represented VV Properties in the five-year lease of 3,182 square feet at 3021 S. Valley View Blvd. to Valley Enterprises for $100,403. Walsh represented both parties in Business Analyst Co.'s two-year lease of a 9,700-square-foot building at 418 W. Mesquite Ave. from the Rosen Ryback Family Trust for $81,600. Willmore and Art Farmanali represented both parties in Cirque Du Soleil's one-year lease of 15,400 square feet at 3542 Sirius Ave. from Jonathan Park for $72,072.

-- Michael Kammerling of Grubb and Ellis represented Keith-Sunset in its sale of 27,034 square feet at 3950 E. Sunset Road to the Shoshone Cattle and Land Development Co., represented by Mark Anthony Rua of Realty Executives of Nevada, for $5.4 million. In another transaction, David Scherer, Barton Hyde and Kent Johns represented Triple Net Properties in its 63-month lease of 6900 Westcliff Drive, Suite 106, to Denice Rossetti Agency for $190,157. Scherer, Hyde and Johns represented Samrose Center in its 36-month lease of 1,591 square feet at 181 N. Arroyo Grande Blvd., Suite 140B, to Paradise Financial Group, represented by Taber Thill of Colliers International, for $94,744.

-- American Nevada Co.'s Charles Van Geel represented the company in its 61-month lease of 3,499 square feet at 2200 Paseo Verde Parkway to Windemere Real Estate for $491,650. Josh Thomas also represented the American Nevada Co. in a five-year lease of 5,346 square feet at 2501 N. Green Valley Parkway to W.E.C. Engineers for $613,065.

-- Colliers International's Scott Gragson, John Kilpatrick and Robert Torres represented Gragson Windmill in the sale of 4.62 acres at the southwest corner of Windmill Lane and Lisa Lane to Impact Development for $1.7 million.
