Families drawn to Eldorado
Pardee's Eldorado Highlands neighborhoods in North Las Vegas are attracting buyers seeking a family-oriented lifestyle, according to sales executive Rob Tuvell. "Since its introduction in 1990, Eldorado residents have developed a strong sense of community with activities centered around events at both Eldorado and Seastrand parks, as well as Lee Antonello Elementary School," Tuvell said. The builder's Fontana and Mandevilla neighborhoods offer nine floor plans priced from $213,450 to $323,450. Fontana's single- and two-story homes measure from 1,594 to 2,931 square feet and have three to six bedrooms. Mandevilla's single- and two-story homes measure from 2,512 to 3,899 square feet and accommodate as many as eight bedrooms and six baths. Options include super bonus rooms, super master suites, guest suites, libraries, tech centers and balconies. Interest lists are forming for Tamarind, the builder's newest neighborhood in the community, as well as for the adjacent Talavera neighborhood. Homes have met the guidelines of the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star program. "All Pardee homes are designed to exceed national energy-efficiency standards by at least 30 percent," Tuvell said. The 1,080-acre community will be home to about 6,500 families. Amenities also include a fire station. To visit, take Craig Road to Camino al Norte and proceed north to the community's entrance. Models and the sales office are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m. Pardee has built homes for more than 25,000 families in Southern Nevada since 1952.
