Fanfare marks sales office debut at Southern Terrace

Perma-Bilt Homes opens a temporary sales office today at its Southern Terrace community, where visitors will be treated to free refreshments, children's activities and a prize drawing for a barbecue. The celebration runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sales executive Ruth Ochoa said the office will provide buyers with information on the community's four neighborhoods, home sites, features and options. A permanent sales center is scheduled to open in early June with 15 model homes.

"We've designed Southern Terrace to offer something for just about every new-home shopper, including a neighborhood of spacious single-story homes each with a three-car garage, and two neighborhoods with floor plans for first-time or move-up buyers, and finally a collection of spacious two-story homes featuring up to six bedrooms and courtyard entries," Ochoa said.

The community is accessible by taking Interstate 215 to Russell Road and heading west. Sales office hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.

Autumn Hills features four two-story floor plans with as many as four bedrooms. Homes range from 1,564 to 1,997 square feet with options for lofts or bonus rooms, and are priced from the $140,000s.

Homes at Somerset are single- and two-story designs ranging from 1,379 to 2,467 square feet with as many as five bedrooms and tandem three-car garages.

Ridgemont features single-story plans with as many as five bedrooms and three-car garages situated home sites averaging 70X110. Homes range from 2,223 to 2,758 square feet with such amenities as great rooms, split three-car garages and optional casitas or home offices. Prices start from the low $200,000s.

The Monterey neighborhood offers homes measuring from 2,860 to 3,464 square feet. Three-car garages, home offices, casitas, courtyard entries, and as many as six bedrooms are featured. Prices start from the mid-$200,000s.

Construction will begin this month on the Southern Terrace Club, a 4,900-square-foot clubhouse with swimming pools, a playground, picnic and barbecue area, and a health club. Completion is expected in October.
