Avante exec reports sales at Highland Hills

Executives of Avante Homes have reported that 49 homes were sold in February at the company's Highland Hills neighborhood in North Las Vegas.

The neighborhood offers seven floor plans in two collections of homes. Priced from the low $120,000s, the one- and two-story designs range from about 1,200 to 2,900 square feet and offer as many as five bedrooms.

According to Larry Fodor, director of sales and marketing, the neighborhood has been popular among buyers for several reasons.

"Avante Homes conducted careful research and then incorporated the most sought after amenities at Highland Hills and home buyers have quickly taken notice. First, we offer home buyers more of what they are looking for, including more spacious homes, more realistic pricing, and a very desirable area to live and raise a family," Fodor said.

"Secondly, ... we have successfully built hundreds of homes in this highly competitive area and as time goes by, our success continues to grow, along with our list of satisfied homeowners. We are especially pleased to say that a significant number of our initial buyers at Highland Hills have come through referrals from friends who already live in homes built by Avante Homes. Design options include dens, lofts and owner suite retreats.

The homes feature concrete-tile roofs, enclosed rear yards, and choice of front-yard landscaping with irrigation.

The interiors are highlighted by built-in entertainment niches, ceramic-tile entries, laundry rooms, wire shelving in closets, and overhead lights braced for ceiling fans in bedrooms.

The kitchens feature pantries, oak cabinetry, recessed or track lighting (per plan), and appliances.

Neighborhood amenities include parks, playground and picnic facilities, a basketball court, and an exercise trail.

The model homes and sales office are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
