Home buyer finds desired amenities at Seven Hills
Former California resident Robert Ritner considered several neighborhoods in the Las Vegas Valley before selecting a home at Pardee Homes' Renaissance neighborhood in the Seven Hills community in Henderson. "I immediately liked the overall design of Seven Hills, with all of the parks, trails, views and landscaped open space areas," Ritner, an insurance broker, said. "There is a sense of consistency in quality, yet the homes and neighborhoods each have their own unique characteristics. "As soon as I walked into the Gabrieli model at Renaissance, I knew it was a home that would work perfectly for me. I was especially pleased to be able to find a large home site ... with a great view of the (Rio Secco Golf Club) fairway, as well as the valley and the surrounding mountains." The two-story Gabrieli ranges from 4,152 to 4,620 square feet and features four bedrooms, a bonus room, 4 1/2 baths and a three-car garage. Among the options are a bar, game room, fifth bedroom, bath and den. Ritner is in the process of finalizing plans for his back yard, which will feature a custom pool and spa with a swim-up bar, a waterfall, and a barbecue and patio area. "I love living in Las Vegas, but I don't really feel like I'm living in Las Vegas. This feels more like a resort community," he said. Developed by Silver Canyon Partnership, Seven Hills offers dozens of model homes and more than 45 Italian- and Spanish-style floor plans, priced from the $130,000s to about $350,000. Custom-home sites are priced from about $190,000 to more than $1 million. Other neighborhoods within the community are: Crescendo by Pardee Homes; Capistrano, Palermo West and Naples by Kimball Hill Homes; Palazzo Monte by U.S. Home; Meridiana by Trident Homes; the Venezia and Terracina custom neighborhoods by Silver Canyon Partnership; and Corcovado and Portofino Custom Homesites by Nevastar Investment Corp. Villa Villagio by Astoria Homes is planned. More than one-third of the community's 1,300 acres has been allocated for open space including parks with tennis and basketball courts, softball and soccer fields, and playgrounds. The community is also home to four city parks. Information can be obtained at the sales and information pavilion, which is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is located just inside the community on Seven Hills Drive, about one-half mile west of the Eastern Avenue and St. Rose Parkway intersection.
