Mesquite offers southwestern locale

The Mesquite neighborhood within Pardee Homes' Nevada Trails community is a favorite among new-home buyers, according to sales director Ray Landry.

"Mesquite really is a hidden gem among Nevada Trails, offering homes designed and priced for first-time and move-up home buyers," Landry said. "Mesquite has something for everyone, including Plan One, a charming single-story home with a great room, three bedrooms, two baths and two-bay garage."

A fourth bedroom and third bath are optional in lieu of the den. The second variation features three bedrooms, an optional den and two baths in 1,698 square feet.

Plan Three is a two-story layout with three bedrooms, a den and three baths in 2,084 square feet. A three-car tandem garage is standard. A fourth bedroom or suite is optional in lieu of the tandem garage. A balcony is optional off of the master bedroom.

Plan Four, a two-story residence, measures 2,435 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths, a loft or optional fifth bedroom, and a three-car garage. The interior displays a living and dining area, family room and an island kitchen.

The builder's LivingSmart program, featured at Nevada Trails, offers environmentally sensitive features and options such as fluorescent lighting, low VOC paint, tankless water heaters and central vacuum systems.

The community will encompass 23 acres of parks and trails, and is interconnected with the 10-acre Nevada Trails Park which provides basketball and tennis courts, a playground, playing fields, an exercise track and picnic area.

To visit the community, take the Las Vegas Beltway to Rainbow, go one mile south to Robindale Road and turn right. The models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Mondays, when they open at 11 a.m.
