Family moves up to second Pardee home

Gary and Tiffany Caico have spent the past seven years in a Pardee Home with their family in Spring Valley. Now, the Caicos reside in Nevada Trails, one of the builder's newest planned communities, located in the southwestern valley.

The community features three Energy Star neighborhoods and 11 model homes in a park-like setting, as well as 13 acres of parks and 10 acres of trails.

"We've been very happy with our Pardee home, and now we're so excited about moving into Nevada Trails," Tiffany Caico said. "We fell in love with the community and especially with this house."

The Caicos chose the two-story Plan Four, located in the Silver Tree neighborhood.

"Our favorite thing about the plan is a stone-covered tower which is a circular alcove inside," Gary Caico said.

The second-floor interior contains a loft overlooking the great room downstairs. With about 3,370 square feet available, there is sufficient space for a bonus room to be included upstairs.

Silver Tree floor plans range from 2,000 to 3,844 square feet, and can include as many as seven bedrooms, four baths and three-car garages. Prices range from $202,950 to $257,950.

The Manzanita neighborhood features four floor plans with 1,414 to 2,566 square feet. With as many as five bedrooms, two to three baths, and two- and three-car garages, the homes are priced from $166,950 to $208,950.

The gated Saddle Peak enclave has all single-story homes, priced from $259,950 to $270,950. Three floor plans measure from 2,565 to 3,025 square feet, and they feature as many as five bedrooms, three baths and three-car garages.

Nevada Trails homes have merited the EPA's Energy Star label and ComfortWise designation for features that include low-e windows and an engineered heating and cooling system.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Rainbow Boulevard, go south to Robindale Road and turn right. The model park is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.

Celebrating 50 years in Southern Nevada, Pardee Homes is also developing the Eldorado community in North Las Vegas and the Rancho Las Palmas community in southeast Las Vegas.
