Santa Bella offers incentives
Santa Bella, a gated neighborhood by Real Homes by Centex Homes, opened its models to the public last weekend. For a limited time, the builder is offering its customers $1,500 off closing costs and a free washer, dryer and refrigerator, when they use the builder's preferred lender. Sales were strong at the neighborhood even in presales, according to sales director Scott Worrall. "Santa Bella is truly a stunning neighborhood. Our success thus far is indicative that our customers agree," Worrall said. One of the unusual features are the Old World pavers used in the driveways and walkways of each home; as well as gas street lamps. Eight one- and two-story floor plans range from 1,254 to 2,449 square feet. Options include dens, owner retreats, dual suites, fireplaces, breakfast nooks, lofts, bunkrooms, covered patios and balconies. Kitchens feature granite counter tops and upgraded appliances. Lots measure a minimum of 6,000 square feet and larger ones are available. Prices start in the $150,000s. The neighborhood is located one-quarter mile away from the Gilcrease Animal Sanctuary in northwest Las Vegas. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Grand Teton Drive and go west, past Durango Drive, following the signs. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Centex Homes, one of the nation's largest home builders, has built more than 250,000 homes.
