City inspector heaps praise on Engle Homes

Engle Homes' Ladera Terrace in Summerlin's The Mesa Village offers a lifestyle, value and quality of construction that residential city inspector Dan Jamieson said appealed to him.

"Because of my profession, I see new construction all the time and I recognized the exceptional quality that is built into every Engle Home" Jamieson said. "The community and the homes are beautiful and Ladera Terrace offered a lot more options than other communities are currently offering."

Coming amenities such as a community pool under construction in conjunction with a neighborhood park, will appeal to Jamieson's young son, he said. "... he'll take great pleasure in having the pool close by."

Jamieson purchased the Senna model from the builder's selection of three, two-story homes with nine elevations.

Each plan includes a gated courtyard, balcony and stone accented exterior.

Priced from $392,999, the 2,031-square-foot Senna is a three-bedroom, -bath design with two-car garage, tech loft, mirador and loggia.

The Menodora offers 2,247 square feet with three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, two-car garage, den and mirador with optional fourth bedroom with third bath. It is priced from $412,990.

Priced from $442,990, the Paloverde is a 2,574-square-foot courtyard home with four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, two-car garage, bonus room and mirador with optional fifth bedroom.

The homes are Energy Star-certified.

To visit, from Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, exit Tropicana Avenue west to Town Center Drive and turn left. Enter the Mesa Community and turn left on Alta Ladera Drive. Make a right and an immediate left on Harvest Wind Drive.
