Last month, Las Vegas New Homes Guide (LVNHG) won nine awards at the Housing Guides of America competition. LVNHG was the recipient of two gold awards and seven silver awards.
The publication also won the silver for Guide of the Year. Washington D.C., which publishes a 600-page guide, took the gold this year.

LVNHG won gold for Best New Guide for its Suburban Living supplement and Best Industry Updates.
Silver awards included Best Cover, Best Article, Best Color Reproduction, Best HGA Ad, Best Consumer Promotion and Best Industry Promotion.
"We did a great job considering the competition was tougher this year than in the past," said Claire DeJesus, LVNHG publisher. "It's a team effort to put out a superior publication every month and I think these awards validate that effort."
Other staffers that work on the publication are: Reather McDaniel, Beth Schwartz, Jean Thorne, Andrew Van Wie and Cristy Vega.
