Rhodes' West 57th homes offer flexibility

Rhodes Homes' West 57th neighborhood in southwestern Las Vegas is a small community of 42 homes located off of Sunset Road and Grand Canyon Drive.

"These are great floor plans and we wanted to attract the segment of buyers who are interested in buying a new home but not necessarily within a master-planned community," said Ryan Soucie, director of sales for the developer. "We had this parcel of land and decided to build these floor plans on it to accommodate those buyers and others like them."

Homes in West 57th range in size from 1,720 to 2,255 square feet and are named for their square footage.

The three two-story homes in the community have two-car garages, vaulted ceilings and second floor laundry rooms.

Residence 1720 offers buyers three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, great room, dining room and loft.

Residence 1832 has three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, great room, dining room and loft with an option in this plan to convert the loft into a fourth bedroom or master retreat.

Residence 2255 includes four bedrooms, three baths, great room, island kitchen and loft. In this plan, the loft can be converted in to a fifth bedroom or den. Prices at West 57th start in the high $200,000s.

"West 57th really has a plan for everyone. With the ability to add additional bedrooms to two of the plans, the homes become very versatile for families looking to buy and be able to grow with their homes," Soucie said.

Homes in this community have 9-foot ceilings as well as vaulted ceilings in select areas on the second floor. Standard features include 6 1/2-inch baseboards and raised panel doors throughout, Maytag appliances, Honey Beech cabinets, white mission stair rails, gas fireplaces and media niches.

The homes have a gas barbecue stub, front and rear yard hose bibs, and finished garages.

Master suites include walk-in closets, double sinks and a separate tub and shower. The plans are also prewired for an alarm system and ceiling fans in the bedrooms, great room and loft.

Each model meets or exceeds the Energy Star rating with 13 seer air conditioning and heating and Honeywell programmable thermostats.

To visit, take Interest 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to west Sunset Road and follow the signs to the community located at Sunset and Grand Canyon Drive.

The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. For more information, call 806-9470 or visit rhodeshomes.com.
