Vila di Lago's showcase homes open to public
Vila di Lago at Lake Las Vegas Resort will open its New American Home series this week to visitors. The three homes earned the distinction at the recent International Builders Show in Las Vegas. Beginning Thursday through March 23, guests can tour the homes in the gated, golf course neighborhood. The homes are priced from $695,000. A nominal admission fee will be charged. The event will include special activities, spa giveaways and refreshments on the resort's Pontevecchio-style bridge. All proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities. Vila di Lago is located on the northern shore of Lake Las Vegas, the resort's 320-acre lake. It is comprised of semicustom townhomes and single-family homes that align the first three holes of Reflection Bay Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus-designed course. Lots that can accommodate single-family homes as large as 3,100 square feet are available. Options allow for as many as four bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. Resident amenities include a swimming pool and a park. Lake Las Vegas Resort also is home to the $500 million MonteLago Village, which is scheduled to open this spring. Among the highlights of the Mediterranean-style village is a Ritz-Carlton Hotel, boutiques, restaurants, outdoor cafés and a casino. Amenities include a marina offering a boat launch, convenience store, sail boats, electric boat and watercraft rentals, boat maintenance and boat sales. Residents can also swim, kayak, canoe, wind surf and sport fish. Adjacent to the marina is a beach, picnic area and lawn, outdoor pool and spa, fitness room, and tennis and basketball facilities. Additionally, Lake Las Vegas Resort Services can make various arrangements for residents as needed. To reach the development, take Interstate 515 to Lake Mead Drive and head east to Lake Las Vegas Parkway. Or, take Interstate 215 until it turns into Lake Mead Drive and proceed to Lake Las Vegas Parkway. The 2,600-acre resort is master-planned to feature upscale housing, world-class hotels, a collection of signature golf courses, shopping and spas.
