Pardee touts Eldorado's amenities

Pardee Homes' Eldorado Highlands neighborhoods offer life at the top of the Las Vegas Valley at attractive prices, according to sales director Rob Tuvell.

"Since Pardee introduced the Eldorado ... community in 1990, it has become known as one of the best addresses for families in Southern Nevada. Eldorado was promoted as a place to spend your life -- not your fortune -- and that still holds true more than 12 years later," Tuvell said.

The city of North Las Vegas chose the builder to develop the 1,080-acre site because of its record of creating affordable and attractive communities in Southern Nevada since 1952.

Upon completion, the enclosed community, marked by an entry monument, will be home to about 6,500 families. Its three neighborhoods, Talavera, Fontana and Mandevilla, offer 12 single- and two-story floor plans.

Tuvell said a new phase of homes is being released today in Fontana.

"Fontana has been one of Pardee's most popular neighborhoods due to design, size and value," he said.

The neighborhood's homes measure between 1,594 and 2,931 square feet. They have three to six bedrooms, optional bonus rooms, and as many as three-car garages in some plans.

Prices start from $158,450 to $217,950.

Priced from $144,950 to $179,950, Talavera features four designs with three to five bedrooms. Bonus rooms, optional dens, lofts and three-car garages are available in some plans. Homes measure between 1,383 and 2,442 square feet.

With floor plans that can accommodate as many as eight bedrooms and six baths, Mandevilla homes are priced from $216,950 to $255,450. Its four designs measure between 2,512 and 3,899 square feet and offer options such as super bonus rooms, super master suites, guest suites, libraries, tech centers and balconies.

Homes in all three neighborhoods are part of the Energy Star program that keep them warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer while reducing energy costs.

"They exceed national energy-efficiency standards by at least 30 percent," Tuvell said.

The community includes a fire station, an elementary school and two parks.

To visit, take Craig Road to Camino al Norte and proceed north to the community's entrance. The sales center and model homes are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.

The sales center also has information about the builder's Vista Verde neighborhoods of Aliso and Ventana, which are under construction in the Centennial Hills area of northwest Las Vegas.
