Realty agent selects Red Rock Country Club
During the last nine years, real estate agent Patty Hylander has helped hundreds of people find the home of their dreams in Southern Nevada. Recently, she found the home of her dreams in Red Rock Country Club in Summerlin. "I just fell in love with the community and everything it had to offer," said Hylander, who moved to the Sunrise Colony Co. development about two months ago. "The ambiance of the community is so appealing. From the lush greens of the golf course and the beautiful architecture of the buildings to the mature landscaping, it's like living in my own oasis. "Being in the real estate industry, I see homes day in and day out. At Red Rock Country Club, not only did I fall in love with the community and all its amenities, I also found the perfect floor plan to accommodate my lifestyle." She selected the two-story Acacia Plan 1204 and a lot adjacent to one of the community's two Arnold Palmer-designed golf courses. The 3,451-square-foot home offers four bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths, living and dining rooms, an island kitchen with a dining bar and nook, family room with a fireplace and media niche, deck, laundry room, balcony, courtyard, covered patio, owner suite retreat, and three-car garage. The home offers options for fireplaces and a wet bar. "I have the most incredible views from my home. My office completely overlooks the golf course and I have mountain views from every room in the house," she said. "This has been a wonderful new experience. The design center staff was very helpful in assisting me with the wide variety of available options. The construction and the walk-through went very smooth, and the builder quickly responded to any of my concerns on private home inspections conducted prior to my closing and walk-through." Hylander was also impressed by the community's social amenities. "When you are a professional working seven days a week, it's wonderful to have a beautiful social setting right in your own back yard," said Hylander, who recently joined the Entertainment Committee, which helps organize social events within the community. In addition to the two 18-hole championship golf courses, the community offers a 44,000-square-foot clubhouse with casual and fine dining options, banquet and meeting services, and views of the city. Also featured is an 8,000-square-foot sports club, which has fitness equipment, saunas, steam rooms, an aerobics studio, massage therapy rooms, locker rooms, and a supervised children's play center. There are plans to expand its exercise room this year. A golf practice facility, pro shop, aquatic center and tennis facility are also available to members. The guard-gated community, which is located near the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, is priced from the $350,000s to more than $2 million and offers one- and two-story designs with as many as six bedrooms and four-car garages. The designs measure from 2,100 to 5,300 square feet. About 1,116 homes are planned. Custom-home sites, measuring from 15,000 to 20,000 square feet, are available in The Estates, a gated neighborhood of 86 lots priced from $315,000 to $500,000. To visit, take Sahara Avenue west, past Town Center Drive, and follow the signs. Or, take Interstate 215 to Sahara and go west. The sales center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
