Brothers become neighbors in Seven Hills

Joe and Janice Macchiaverna recently purchased a new home at Richmond American Homes' Encore at Palatine Hill neighborhood in Seven Hills. The purchase is the couple's second within the community in Henderson, where they have resided for two years.

"We love living in Seven Hills, and a while back, we began looking for a home here that offered a view of the city," Joe Macchiaverna said. "(We had seen) Richmond American's Encore at Anthem neighborhood, and we really liked the Lanier model. Then we found out that Richmond American was offering identical designs in Seven Hills, and it all came together for us.

"We were able to have the home we wanted and have it on a home site with spectacular views of the Las Vegas skyline and the surrounding mountains."

The couple's enthusiasm spread to Joe Macchiaverna's brothers, Lou and Andy, who decided to buy the same floor plan right next door.

"The design of the Lanier model and the views from their lot impressed us so much ...," Lou Macchiaverna said. "Having family here, we were familiar with Seven Hills and all it offers for homeowners. The parks and outdoor spaces are wonderful, and the location is second-to-none for convenience. We know Seven Hills is a great place to live, and we're really looking forward to moving here and enjoying our new home and the great views from our back yard."

The Lanier plan offers three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a three-car garage. It measures 1,985 square feet and is priced from the low $200,000s.

Encore at Palatine Hill features four two-story floor plans, ranging from 1,985 to 3,279 square feet with as many as six bedrooms. The homes can be expanded by as much as 500 square feet with an optional third-story or a studio, per plan.

Other neighborhoods open for sales are: Renaissance and Crescendo by Pardee Homes, Naples by Kimball Hill Homes, Palazzo Monte by US Home, Meridiana by Trident Homes, and Villa Villagio by Astoria Homes. Custom lots are available in the Venezia and Terracina neighborhoods by Silver Canyon Partnership, and Corcovado and Portofino Custom Homesites by Nevastar Investment Corp.

Dozens of model homes and more than 45 floor plans are available, priced from the $140,000s to about $350,000. Custom-home sites are priced from the $200,000s to more than $1 million.

The 1,300-acre community is a development of Silver Canyon Partnership.

The community's information center is located on Seven Hills Drive, which is about one-half mile west of the Eastern Avenue and St. Rose Parkway intersection. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
