KB Home's Inspirada offers 'New Urbanism'

KB Home's newest home collections in the Inspirada master plan, located in the southern valley, offer a living experience that's rooted in tradition, according to Alicia Rodrigues, regional sales manager for the builder's Las Vegas division.

"It's new urbanism," said Rodrigues. "The neighborhoods are designed to promote a sense of community. All homes are within a quarter mile of a community park. The neighborhoods feature tree-lined streets and, the way the homes are designed, the sidewalks are not interrupted by driveways."

The driveways are located in the back of the homes and are connected to an access-lane.

"The design is reminiscent of the traditional neighborhoods you find back east. It's a place where neighbors will get to know one another," Rodrigues said. "We call Inspirada a walkable community. We offer community amenities such as parks including one large park with a community pool. Residents of Inspirada can truly enjoy their neighborhood. They don't have to be secluded in their own backyard."

The overall design and layout of Inspirada is unlike other master-planned communities.

"We've even taken out the block walls that you typically see in master-planned communities separating neighborhoods and villages. Inspirada is open and inviting," Rodrigues said.

The community's central park features five acres of outdoor space including an adult pool, children's pool, a tot lot, bocce ball courts and playing fields.

Inspirada will include seven residential villages. Each village will feature a mixture of home designs from several home builders.

"The home builders' sites are mixed within the villages so that every street looks different. You won't find homes that look the same next to one another," Rodrigues said.

The builder offers five home collections within the Inspirada master plan: the Da Vinci Estate Homes, Van Gogh Village Courtyard Homes, Matisse Village Homes, Rembrandt City Town Homes and the Renoir Garden Homes.

The Da Vinci Estate Homes feature five two-story floor plans ranging from 2,262 to 4,005 square feet.

The homes offer two to five bedrooms, two to 3 1/2 baths and two- to three-car garages.

Offering one- and two-story homes, the Van Gogh Village Courtyard includes five floor plans ranging from 2,114 to 3,486 square feet.

The homes feature three to five bedrooms, two to four baths and two-car garages.

Featuring two-story homes ranging from 2,121 to 2,856 square feet, the Matisse Village Homes offers a total of four floor plans.

The homes include three to five bedrooms, 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 baths and two-car garages.

The Rembrandt City Town Homes offer the benefits of homeownership without the same level of maintenance. The two-level, townhome-style floor plans range from 1,643 to 1,980 square feet.

These attached homes feature two to four bedrooms, 2 1/2 to 3 baths and two-car garages.

With homes ranging from 1,376 to 2,041 square feet, the Renoir Garden Homes features five two-story floor plans. The homes offer two to five bedrooms, 2 1/2 to three baths and two-car garages.

Homes in KB Home's Inspirada collections start in the high $200,000s.

To visit Inspirada from St. Rose Parkway and Eastern, head west on St. Rose Parkway. Turn left on Executive Airport (becomes Volunteer), right on Via Firenze and follow signs to the sales centers. The sales offices are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and open at noon Monday.

The builder offers one-stop shopping at its KB Home Studio off Interstate 15. The 22,000-square-foot design center enables local home buyers to turn their dream home into a reality. The facility is located at 7440 Dean Martin Drive, Suite 201, just south of the Warm Springs Road intersection.

The developer offers a service to prospective home buyers known as the Home Finding Center.

The staff at the Home Finding Center share their expertise and help potential home buyers reach their goal of owning a home by offering free assistance including credit reports, a review of their financial situation and credit counseling if needed.

The Home Finding Center offers one-stop shopping as home buyers receive information on every neighborhood, floor plan and price for the more than 25 communities offered by the developer throughout Southern Nevada just by visiting one convenient location. The Home Finding Center is located in the KB Home Main office at 5655 Badura Ave., just southwest of the Las Vegas Beltway and Decatur Boulevard.
