The Paseos Village lies in valley's southwest

The 375-acre The Paseos Village in Summerlin counts its natural mountain and desert surroundings as distinguishing features in a design scheme that includes a variety of hacienda- and mission-style homes.

"The Paseos Village recognizes the natural and rugged beauty of the Southwest," said Julie Cleaver, director of design and planning for The Howard Hughes Corp., an affiliate of General Growth Properties, developer of Summerlin. "The Southwestern influence is clearly evident in the details of the homes, village landmarks, streetscapes and landscaping of The Paseos. The proximity to Red Rock Canyon further enhances the beauty and desirability of The Paseos Village."

The village includes a number of neighborhood parks, in addition to several miles of trail system extending from the northern to the southern boundaries of the village.

The 12-acre Paseos Park opened in September 2006. It features junior soccer/ tee-ball fields, sand volleyball and basketball courts, motorized toy area, tot lot, children's play areas, picnic pavilions, open turf areas and an interactive water feature.

"The village design, amenities and location are popular with valley home buyers," Cleaver said. "In three years, more than 3,500 residents have moved into the village and more are on their way."

Homes available are located in three neighborhoods -- Barcelona by Toll Brothers; Coronado by Westmark Homes; and Palomar by Toll Brothers. Homes range from 1,300 to 3,100 square feet and are priced from the low $300,000s to the mid-$700,000s.

The Summerlin master-planned community was developed by The Howard Hughes Corp. The 22,500-acre community, located along the western rim of the Las Vegas Valley, is currently home to more than 93,000 residents. With about 7,500 acres still to develop, including the urban core, Summerlin Centre, the community is home to more than 100 neighborhood and village parks, more than 120 completed miles of the Summerlin Trail System, 19 public and private schools, medical and cultural facilities, and business parks.
