Pulte Homes' community completes master-planned living design, holds final sales celebration today
SPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE
By summer's end, Sun City Anthem may complete its final sales, according to Nick Parks, vice president of marketing for Pulte Homes.
To mark the decade-long sales, the age-qualified community in Henderson will celebrate its grand finale with festivities and a home site release today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its sales pavilion.

Festivities will include a jazz band, refreshments and a gift for all who attend. Meanwhile, events will take place at Solera at Anthem.
"This community has become an important part of the history of Henderson, Nev. It has changed the image of the city, putting it on the national map as a retirement destination and elevating the already prestigious Sun City brand," Parks said.
The nearly 7,000-home development has sold more than 6,000 homes to date, with about 300 homes remaining.
As part of the event, 52 premium lots will be released for sale, starting at 9 a.m.
The release, located within the Black Mountain Village area of the community, includes ridgeline and high-side home sites.
"We have saved some of the best for last," Parks said. "Many of these homes will be located on the periphery of the community, offering enviable vantage points."
The development offers 12 floor plans in three distinct collections, ranging from 1,496 to 3,175 square feet with two or three bedrooms and two to 3 1/2 baths.
Prices start from $312,990 to $539,990.
Pulte will host a similar event for The Villas at Solera, a separately gated neighborhood of patio homes within the Solera at Anthem age-qualified community.
Visitors may view the Jefferson and the Monroe, two new models which debut today, in addition to the neighborhood's five original floor plans. Homes range from 1,140 to 1,771 square feet.
Prices start from the mid-$200,000s.
The neighborhood offers a community center featuring a range of activities, such as exercise classes, indoor swimming and spa, game rooms and fitness center.
The landscaped grounds offer bocce and tennis courts, a trail system and landscaped grounds.
"Solera at Anthem is coming close to the end of its tremendous run as well," Parks said.
"When it closes sales later this year, it will mark the end of sales of new construction in Anthem."
Sun City Anthem is anchored by common areas, including the Anthem Center, which offers Trumpets restaurant, a fitness and wellness center, indoor walking track, game rooms, business center, computer lab, library, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, conference rooms and a ballroom.
A second facility, Independence Center, also serves the community.
New homes within the master-planned community are constructed with Environments for Living building technology, with blown-in Cocoon cellulose insulation, conditioned attic spaces, 15 SEER air conditioning units and dual-paned, vinyl-framed low-e windows.
