Astoria set for Village's debut

Astoria Homes plans to debut its Centennial Village neighborhood in the northwestern valley in late March, after its model homes are completed.

The neighborhood will feature one single-story plan and four two-story designs ranging from 1,612 to 2,630 square feet. Priced from $168,900, the homes will have three to five bedrooms and two- or three-car garages. The two-story plans also feature game rooms, decks and courtyards.

"Centennial Village is full of extraordinary features and amenities," marketing director Sia Howe said.

Interior features will include appliance packages, while exterior amenities include iron railings, decorative shutters and landscaped front yards.

In addition, the homes have earned the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star label ensuring they are at least 30 percent more energy efficient than houses built to the Model Energy Code.

Homes also come with the builder's 10-year warranty.

Planned amenities at the gated neighborhood include two playgrounds, a covered picnic area, basketball half court and grass areas.

Information is available at the builder's Ironwood Estates neighborhood. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Durango Drive, go east to El Capitan Way, and then west on Horse Drive.
