Courtyards popular at Sun City Aliante
Courtyards are a popular option among buyers at Sun City Aliante, the age-qualified component of the Aliante master-planned community in North Las Vegas. "Courtyards provide outdoor living space in both the front and back yards," senior sales manager Lorraine Roberts said. "They make it very social in the front of the home, so neighbors can get to know each other." Courtyards are an option for five of the seven plans offered at the community. "Courtyards are an extremely affordable option as a way to expand your home. They give you more area for entertaining and enhance the beauty of the house," Roberts said. The courtyard for the Coronado model, for example, adds 380 square feet to the 2,105-square-foot, two-bedroom home. The design also features two baths, a great room, library, kitchen nook, and optional covered patio and third bedroom. All homes feature the builder's Environments for Living Energy Star efficiency package, which includes low-e windows and air-conditioning units with a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating of 12, that reduces energy consumption and lowers costs. Front- and backyard landscaping is standard. The community is being built around an 18-hole municipal golf course. Additional amenities include a recreation center with tennis and bocce courts, a swimming pool, fitness center, and club and hobby rooms. Homes measure from 1,155 to 2,105 square feet and are priced from the low $160,000s to the mid-$240,000s. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Centennial Parkway, exit east to Sky Pointe Drive and turn right. Turn right at Frontage Road, then left onto Interstate 215. Exit at Aliante Parkway and go north. The sales office and models are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
