KB Home develops in southwest

KB Home is developing the Desert Willows and El Dorado Pines neighborhoods in the southwestern valley.

Desert Willows offers six models and seven floor plans, ranging from 964 to 2,038 square feet. The homes offer two to five bedrooms, two to three baths, and two-car garages. Prices range from the $120,000s to the $160,000s.

To visit, take Interstate 15 to Blue Diamond Road and exit west. Turn left on Jones Boulevard, and travel about two miles to Haleh Avenue.

At El Dorado Pines, three models and eight floor plans are featured, measuring from 1,251 to 2,023 square feet and priced from the $140,000s to $160,000s. The one- and two-story designs offer two to five bedrooms, two baths, and two-car garages.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Jones Boulevard and head south. Turn right on Robindale Road, and then turn a right on Torrey Pines Drive.

The sales offices are open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Friday, when they open at 11 a.m.

"The southwest is a growing area in Las Vegas and we offer home buyers many choices, including our community Bella Terra inside the Southern Highlands master plan," said Leah Bryant, president of KB Home's Las Vegas division.

The builder also has introduced the Homebuyers Club, which offers potential buyers free credit reports, a review of their financial situation, and credit counseling, if needed.

Its Home Finding Center helps clients find their ideal home at one of the builder's more than 20 neighborhoods throughout the valley.

The company also operates a mortgage company.

KB Home was founded in 1957 and is one of America's largest home builders. In fiscal 2001, the company delivered homes to 24,868 families in the United States and France.
