In the northwestern valley, KB Home offers three communities: Iron Mountain Ranch, Lone Mountain and Goldrush. Each has been well-received by buyers, according to Leah Bryant, president of the builder's Las Vegas division. "The northwest part of Las Vegas is very popular with our home buyers," Bryant said. "Our multiple communities offer a variety of floor plans and choices, so families can find a home that suits their needs." Among the satisfied buyers are Ralph and Mona Lister, who purchased a home at Iron Mountain Ranch. They chose the Pioneer plan, which measures 1,801 square feet. Previously, they lived in a home on a half-acre lot. "It was a little scary at first but we found a floor plan we liked, and also the corner lot gave us a larger yard which we were used to," Ralph Lister said. "We also wanted a community with parks, so we could take walks in the morning. Iron Mountain Ranch really offered us everything we wanted with a new home." The community is comprised of 11 models and 27 floor plans among four neighborhoods. The single- and two-story homes measure from 1,098 to 3,633 square feet and are priced from the $120,000s to $230,000s. They can be built with two to seven bedrooms, two to four baths and a two- or three-car garage. To visit Iron Mountain Ranch, take U.S. Highway 95 to Ann Road, head east to Jones Boulevard and turn left. Drive three miles to Grand Teton Drive and turn right. The sales office is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Seven model homes are open in the gated Lone Mountain community, which is comprised of the Heights, Ridge and Classics neighborhoods. Homes as large as 4,035 square feet are available at Heights, where prices start from the high $100,000s. At Ridge, floor plans range from 1,384 to 2,523 square feet and are priced from the $140,000s. Both neighborhoods feature a park with a playground. Classics is open for presales, and offers 10 single- and two-story floor plans, ranging from 2,616 to 4,035 square feet. The lots measure 15,000 square feet and the homes are priced from the $250,000s. A fourth neighborhood, Springs, is scheduled to open in late August. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Cheyenne Avenue, head west to Durango Drive and turn right. Proceed to Alexander Road and turn left. The sales offices are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Friday, when they open at 11 a.m. Homes are priced from the $140,000s at Goldrush, where 10 single- and two-story floor plans measure from 1,251 to 2,023 square feet. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Cheyenne Avenue, then head west to Durango Drive. The sales office is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Friday, when it opens at 11 a.m. The builder's service extends to its full-service design center and mortgage company, as well as its Homebuyers Club and Home Finding Center. The club assists potential buyers with credit reports and a financial evaluation, while the center provides information about KB Home's nearly two dozen neighborhoods in the valley. All of these facilities are located at 7440 S. Industrial Road, Suite 201, just south of Warm Springs Road. The builder also has operations in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, Florida and France.
