Third tower under way at Turnberry Place

Construction has started on the third of the planned four 40-story towers at Turnberry Place, a luxury high-rise condominium development at 2777 Paradise Road.

The developer, Turnberry Associates, broke ground for the complex three years ago.

"We began selling the Turnberry lifestyle in January 1999, before any of the towers were started," John Riordan, vice president of sales, said. "Our buyers knew Turnberry Associates had a successful reputation as a builder for 30 years, so they were confident in Turnberry Place. Now, three years later, we have sold 450 units and we have residents living in towers one and two."

Riordan said sales at the 15-acre development have surpassed $400 million, and that tower three is 60 percent sold. Each tower takes about 18 months to complete, and construction is about 18 months ahead of schedule. When complete, there will be 740 units.

Turnberry Place offers ten floor plans, ranging from 1,550 to 8,000 square feet and priced from $500,000 to more than $5.25 million.

The $40 million private Stirling Club with 80,000 square feet of amenities and five-star VIP service is central to the gated development, which also provides valet parking, 24-hour security, concierge service, limousine service and room service.
