Buyers tout knowledge of Richmond's staff

Dennis and Tiffany Piekarski credit the information provided by Richmond American Homes' sales staff for their decision to purchase a new home from its Santa Barbara collection, available at the builder's Valencia neighborhood in the southwestern valley.

"We hadn't been looking too long for a new home, because we already knew we wanted to stay in the same general area where we were already living," Tiffany Piekarski said. "But still, we had visited many new model homes, and the reason we chose the Newport model was because of the sales agents. They are what really made the difference for us."

She said the agent took them on a tour of the models and "pointed out features that we would not otherwise have noticed. He really impressed us by answering all our questions knowledgeably."

"There's no doubt that Richmond American Homes is a high-quality builder. We love our home, and since moving in, we have discovered for ourselves that everything Richmond does is first-class," she said.

They purchased a home at Maryland Heights, which has sold out. The same four two-story designs are available at Valencia.

The 1,608-square-foot Cambria plan, priced from the $190,000s, has three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a great room, kitchen nook and formal dining room.

Measuring 1,800 square feet, the Monticeto features formal living and dining rooms, as well as a great room. It is priced from the low $200,000s.

The Laguna plan features four bedrooms on the second level, one of which may be converted into a master retreat. The 2,019-square-foot home is priced from the low $200,000s.

At 2,059 square feet, the Newport is priced from the low $200,000s and features a bedroom on the first floor.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Jones Boulevard, go south to Robindale Road, turn east and follow the signs. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday and Friday, when the sales office opens at noon.
