Agent buys, sells in Aliante

Real estate agent Nancy Wilson has not only sold homes in Aliante to clients, she has purchased a home for her family within the North Las Vegas community as well.

"Like any good parent, I want to raise my children in the best environment possible and provide security for their future," said Wilson, whose household includes sons, Michael Webster, 13, and Marcus Webster, 6.

"Purchasing a home in Aliante fulfills both of these desires because it is a prime master-planned community with quality homes and the finest in recreational facilities. The 20-acre Nature Discovery Park, the planned new schools and shopping centers, and all of the other amenities in Aliante ensure that this will be one of the finest places in the Las Vegas Valley to live and to raise a family. ... I could see that this was going to be a very desirable community, which is why I purchased during the earliest phase of development."

Wilson chose a two-story home in the San Destin Ravello neighborhood by KB Home.

"We're totally excited about our new home. It has a very spacious master suite, and each of my sons will have their own bedrooms. As an added benefit, the loft area will serve perfectly as a home office. It's a home that will provide all of us with lots of space and privacy," she said.

"Actually, when I first announced that we were going to be moving across town, my sons were a little skeptical. Then I drove them to Aliante and showed them all it had to offer for a family like ours. Upon seeing the community, both of them said they were ready to move immediately," Wilson said.

"We're all excited about our decision to buy a home in Aliante and looking forward to many, many years of happiness here. I can't think of a better place for us to own a home in Southern Nevada. It's already a great place to live and as development continues, I know it will only get better."

The community is a development of North Valley Enterprises, an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Del Webb Corp. Covering more than 1,900 acres, the community consists of primary and age-qualified villages and will have an anticipated population of about 20,000.

Builders in the primary village are D.R. Horton, KB Home, Pardee Homes and Pulte Homes. Del Webb is currently building the Sun City Aliante age-qualified community.

About 428 acres have been designated for recreational and public purposes, including an 18-hole, par-72 municipal golf course; three city parks; more than 20 miles of lit concrete trails and linear parks; and an arroyo.

About 100 acres have been allocated for commercial development, including a resort with gaming.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Centennial Parkway, exit east to Sky Pointe Drive and turn right. Turn right at Frontage Road, then left onto Interstate 215. Exit at Aliante Parkway, and go south to the primary village and north to Sun City.

The information gallery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
