Pulte's home sales accelerate in 2003

SPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE

Sales activity has been brisk for Pulte Homes during the first half of 2003. Locally, the builder opened several new neighborhoods, two of which debuted in the northwestern valley, two in the Aliante community in North Las Vegas, three in The Vistas village in Summerlin, and one in Henderson.

"We are fortunate to have been able to begin 2003 with so much success. Opening so many brand new communities is extremely exciting, and we anticipate the opening of several more by the end of the year," said Brinton Cook, general sales manager.

Silverstone Ranch offers "something for everyone," Randy Char, general sales manager, said of the northwestern valley community.

"Silverstone Ranch is a master plan that offers a variety of plans, prices and communities with golf course lots available," Char said. "This really suits every type of home buyer including those with families, those who enjoy golf, and those who just want to live in this serene area."

The central amenity is the Silverstone Golf Club, a 27-hole championship course complemented by a 34,000-square-foot clubhouse. Parks and other recreational amenities are planned.

There are 18 model homes open and 20 floor plans available. Prices start from the low $200,000s to the $500,000s.

A townhome development with a social center and a swimming pool are planned.

Also open in the northwestern valley is Wyeth Ranch, a gated neighborhood of single-story homes.

"Wyeth Ranch offers a unique lineup of designs that have never been seen in a Pulte community in the Las Vegas Valley," Char said.

Buyers can choose from five floor plans, ranging from 2,616 to 3,816 square feet. Three- or four-car garages are standard. Homes are priced from $354,990 to $428,990.

Serenata and Vialetto are located within Aliante. Each offers single- and two-story designs.

Serenata homes measure from 1,881 to 2,665 square feet and are priced from $216,990 to $256,990. In Vialetto, floor plans range from 1,520 to 2,284 square feet. Prices start from $189,990 to $222,990.

The neighborhoods that debuted in Summerlin were Summerfield, Hillstone and Paradiso.

Summerfield is comprised of all two-story homes, measuring from 1,583 to 1,890 square feet. Prices start from the low $200,000s.

"Summerfield offers homes located in The Vistas village for those looking for the rewards of Pulte's award-winning customer service and Platinum energy efficiency," said Susan Allen, general sales manager.

Hillstone features all single-story homes measuring from 1,520 to 1,881 square feet. Prices range from $239,990 to $264,990.

Paradiso, a gated neighborhood, offers homes with features such as courtyards and turret entries. Floor plans measure from 3,000 to 3,448 square feet and are priced from $457,990 to $513,990. These plans also offer an upgraded appliance package that includes the Gustav Mauler seal of approval.

In March, Anthem Highlands opened for presales in Henderson with five collections of single- and two-story homes. Twenty floor plans range from 1,580 to 3,483 square feet. Prices start from the mid-$200,000s. Seventeen model homes are scheduled to open in mid-September.

All residences feature the builder's Platinum Series Environments for Living building technology, and have earned the Energy Star seal from the Environmental Protection Agency. A three-year heating and cooling guarantee is included.
