Agent praises Sun City plan

The 1,576-square-foot Laurel design is the best-selling floor plan at Del Webb's age-qualified Sun City Aliante community in North Las Vegas.

Two bedrooms and two baths highlight the design, which also features a den, great room, kitchen nook and two-car garage. A patio and casita are optional. The home is priced from the $370,000s.

In all, seven plans ranging from 1,155 to 2,105 square feet, and priced from the low $310,000s to the mid-$440,000s, are available. Front- and backyard landscaping is included.

Homes utilize the Environments for Living building technology, which includes energy-saving features such as low-e windows and blown-in cellulose insulation. In addition, they are recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency as Energy Star homes and offer a three-year heating and cooling energy-use and comfort guarantee.

The 326-acre community has bocce and tennis courts, while a recreation center with a swimming pool, fitness center, and club and hobby rooms is planned.

In addition, residents have access to the master-planned community's amenities, which includes the public Aliante Golf Club, an 18-hole, par-72 course, and the 20-acre Nature Discovery Park, which has an archaeological-themed play area, water play area, lake, group picnic facility, amphitheater, soccer fields, and tennis and volleyball courts.

Retail and medical centers are planned.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to the Interstate 215 east exit. Proceed to the Aliante Parkway exit then go north. The sales office and models are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Del Webb is a subsidiary of Pulte Homes Inc., one of the nation's largest home builders. It also offers the all-ages Club Aliante, as well as the age-qualified Sun City Anthem and Solera at Anthem, both in Henderson.
