Pulte Homes impresses realty agent

Albert Rowland, a realty agent, said purchasing a home at Pulte's Anthem Highlands community in Henderson was a natural decision for him.

"Pulte Homes is a good builder with a great customer relations department. I've sold at least 40 Pulte homes to my clients all around the Las Vegas Valley," Rowland said.

Rowland purchased the 1900 plan, the largest in the Buchanan Collection. It comes with three bedrooms, two baths, a great room, dining room and two-car garage.

Three additional single-story designs range from 1,580 to 1,729 square feet.

Prices start from the $440,000s.

Another deciding factor for Rowland was the energy efficiency of the homes. All of the homes exceed the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star requirements and use the Environments for Living building technology. They offer a three-year heating and cooling energy-use and comfort guarantee.

"My utility bills thus far have been totally reasonable," he said.

The 400-acre community will comprise about 1,500 homes upon buildout.

Four additional collections, offering one- and two-story designs, range from 1,629 to 3,483 square feet.

Prices start from the $460,000s to the $670,000s.

Homes in the Stonehaven Collection feature artificial turf as part of the front-yard landscaping.

To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway, turn left on Anthem Parkway and follow the signs. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at noon.
