Christopher debuts Build on Your Lot

A program introduced by Christopher Homes is geared toward people who want to live in a custom-home neighborhood, but want to save time and money on their home's design and construction.

The Build on Your Lot program allows buyers to choose from floor plans that can be built on the buyer's choice of lot anywhere in the Las Vegas Valley.

"Our research told us that there are many prospective buyers who would like to live in a custom-home neighborhood, but would rather avoid the lengthy design process, which can take anywhere from six to 12 months to finalize," sales representative Dana Limon said. "We're offering these buyers the opportunity to choose from a variety of our popular and award-winning residential designs, along with a construction time of as little as seven to nine months."

Prices to build the designs, excluding the cost of the lot, start from the low $500,000s.

In some cases, Limon said potential buyers can tour a furnished model of a plan they are considering.

"It gives our buyers the unique advantage of being able to see upfront exactly what their future home will look like," she said. "Additionally, each of our plans is perfected, which enables the buyer to avoid problems that can be inherent in home designs that have never been built before. It eliminates the mystery and uncertainty that is so often associated with designing a home from square one."

The builder also can assist with lot selection.

"Christopher Homes' building activities span the entire valley, including communities such as Lake Las Vegas, Southern Highlands Golf Club, Seven Hills, Anthem, MacDonald Highlands and Summerlin," Limon said. "Our staff is highly familiar with local codes, the architectural review process and the potential value of home sites in various custom neighborhoods and master plans, which has been a valuable resource for many of our home buyers."

All work is handled in-house by the builder's team of professionals, from the sales consultants to the construction team to the design center staff.

"The professionals from our design center can provide expert advice regarding just about every aspect of the interior design of our homes," Limon said. "They can help our buyers with advice relating to electrical, plumbing, flooring, counter tops and cabinetry and also provide assistance with the selection of window coverings, wall coverings and a complete choice of other options and accessories. It's a complete service that enables each buyer to personalize their home to their own distinctive taste and lifestyle."

Detailed information about the Build on Your Lot program is available at the builder's Aria custom show home at MacDonald Highlands, a guard-gated community in Henderson. Open houses are held Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to the Valle Verde Drive exit and go south, past Horizon Ridge Parkway, to the entrance of MacDonald Highlands. The guard will provide further directions to the show home.
