Ryland Homes touts design, finance options

SPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE

Ryland Homes prides itself on its TrueU program, which allows home buyers to choose subdivision-specific floor plans that reflect their needs and personalities.

"One of the best parts of buying a Ryland home is making it your own," said Dana Rogers, vice president of sales and marketing for the builder's Las Vegas division. "We offer home buyers lifestyle options to make their homes truly reflect the way they want to live. Our buyers even get a personal design consultant to help them through the process."

Among the program's upgrades are workshops, game rooms, home gyms, extra garages and casitas.

Rogers said TrueU also features various financing options. He said a Ryland Mortgage representative works with buyers to determine the right loans for them, including low down-payment and zero-closing-cost plans, as well as fixed- and adjustable-rate mortgages.

The builder plans to open 13 neighborhoods this year in the Las Vegas Valley.

Current projects include Sunrise Ridge, a southeastern valley subdivision that offers 19 single- and two-story floor plans. They range in size from 946 to 3,697 square feet. The homes are priced from the high $100,000s.

The Cottages at Southern Hills is a gated neighborhood featuring two-story homes in the southwestern valley. Two- and three-bedroom homes are available ranging from 1,313 to 1,592 square feet. The homes are priced starting from the $230,000s.

An interest list is forming for South Mountain, also in the southwest. Buyers can choose from 20 floor plans, ranging from 1,174 to 3,418 square feet and priced from the high $100,000s. It will open for sales in August.

All of the homes are backed by the builder's 10-year service warranty.

Ryland Homes operates in 27 markets nationwide. It has constructed more than 220,000 homes and financed more than 190,000 mortgages since 1967.
