Sales and construction activity at C2 Lofts picked up momentum recently, according to sales agents Sommer Jandula and Frances Smock, who reported that nearly all of the loft residences in the first of two buildings slated for the Summerlin project have sold. They said the final phase of units available in the first building has been released and sales will soon begin for the second building.
The first buyers are anticipated to move into their new residences later this year.

Plans for the project call for 100 residences within two five-story buildings on a parcel at the southwest corner of the Las Vegas Beltway and Charleston Boulevard. Eight designs are offered, ranging from 1,530 to 2,705 square feet. Each comes with a terrace, offering views of the city or Red Rock Canyon.
"The news is all good here at C2 Lofts in Summerlin," Jandula said. "Right now, we're offering buyers the rare opportunity to not only purchase a loft in one of Las Vegas's first loft developments, but to also have the convenience of being able to move into their new loft residence before the end of the year. Even more incredible is the fact that we are still offering pre-model-opening prices, which discerning buyers will recognize as exceptionally competitive, considering the square footage and volume of these lofts, the level of luxury incorporated throughout each model and the unparalleled Summerlin location."
Prices start from the $700,000s to $1.2 million.
Smock pointed out that development activity has progressed enough that prospective buyers may visit the site and tour the homes under construction.
"We are providing these private tours to give potential buyers a true sense of the beauty, drama and volume these lofts offer, along with the stunning views of the city and the nearby Red Rock Canyon area," Smock said.
Tours are by appointment only, and may be scheduled by visiting the preview center located in the shopping center near the northeast corner of the Beltway and Charleston. A decorated model loft is also available for tours.
The homes are designed with a minimalist styling highlighted by exposed ductwork, expansive windows and ceiling heights of 10 to 12 feet in the single-story lofts and 20 feet in two-story lofts.
Amenities include stainless steel appliances, upgraded cabinetry, granite counter tops and plumbing fixtures. Among the options are fireplaces, brick wall treatments and various flooring and stone counter tops.
Buyers may also receive consultation with an interior design professional.
Several on-site amenities are planned, such as a heated pool, two spas, a fitness center, an enclosed parking garage and retail shops on the main level.
Each of the loft buildings will also have a landscaped roof garden with a fire pit, fireplace, barbecues and lounge.
Buyers also receive an executive golf club membership to Red Rock Country Club, entitling them to year-round use of the golf courses, as well as the clubhouse, sports club, tennis, and swimming facilities.
Situated within the Summerlin Centre village, the project is designed to be within walking distance of shopping and entertainment centers. A second project, called C2 Lofts Upper West Side, is planned for a site near U.S. Highway 95 and Lake Mead Boulevard.
It will be built with similar amenities and dwelling spaces, centered by a "Main Street" with loft residences above retail shops, restaurants and offices. The project will also include a structure with a swimming pool, spas, water features, a fitness center, treatment rooms, a juice bar, theater, TV room, business center and concierge.
Prices are anticipated to start in the low $400,000s. An interest list is being formulated online.
