Release spurs sales at The Christopher Collection
Home buyers have received a recent release of 12 home sites in The Christopher Collection's third phase with enthusiasm, according to sales agent Teresa Tebbs. Tebbs said three of the sites have been sold, bringing sales at the Southern Highlands neighborhood in the southwestern valley to 38 out of its 98 homes. "This latest release is very special, as it includes what we feel are some of the most spectacular golf course home sites in the valley. Several have gorgeous views of the golf course lake and waterfalls, while others offer panoramic triple fairway views," Tebbs said. "Just about all of the home sites have views of the nearby mountains, plus we have two huge interior lots that measure 15,000 and 17,000 square feet. These interior home sites are on cul-de-sac streets and will easily provide room for the largest of homes, while still having lots of space for a big back yard." The neighborhood offers 15 designs, ranging from about 3,000 to more than 6,200 square feet and priced from the mid-$400,000s to more than $1 million. The collection includes five single-story plans; two two-story residences with first-floor owner suites; and eight two-story plans with second-floor owner suites. Four elevations and 12 color palettes are available per plan. Homes include stainless steel appliances; oak, maple or cherry cabinetry; and granite counter tops. Home sites average about one-quarter acre, with more than 75 percent of the lots located along the golf course. The builder provides each buyer with a $25,000 allowance for structural variations and design center options. Options include elevators, motor courts, courtyard fireplaces, detached guest quarters, major room additions, four-car garages, extra baths, bonus rooms, libraries, wine cellars and wet bars. A Cambria home at the neighborhood is available for move-in within 30 days. Tebbs said the home is priced at $864,790, reflecting a $30,000 savings. "It is located on a prime golf course home site with spectacular views of the golf course fairway, waterfalls and nearby mountains. Among the many built-in amenities in this home are upgraded stone flooring throughout, four interior fireplaces, granite counter tops, maple cabinetry, custom interior paint, French doors from the living room to the fireside courtyard, and much more," Tebbs said. The two-story, 3,603-square-foot home features four bedrooms including a first-floor owner suite, 3 1/2 baths, a gated motorcourt, courtyard with fireplace, front-yard and backyard landscaping, a covered patio, and paver-stone driveway. The builder provides each buyer with a social membership to the Southern Highlands Golf Club, upon application approval. Amenities include roving security, concierge services, parks, open spaces and recreational facilities. Consisting of semicustom and custom homes, the enclave is located on the southern edge of the 2,300-acre Southern Highlands master-planned community. To visit, take Interstate 15 south to the Lake Mead Drive exit and go west, following the signs. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
