Dove Canyon marks debut
Today is the last day of the grand-opening celebration at The Developers of Nevada's Dove Canyon neighborhood in North Las Vegas. "I think there may be a few more early phase priced homes available for this last day of our grand-opening event," sales agent Lori Resco-Garcia said. "Prospective home buyers were telling me that they were attracted to the fact that Dove Canyon is a gated community with homes constructed on cul-de-sacs. Also, they liked the fact that the area is a blend of rural and suburban lifestyles. In fact, you have people with horses right down the road." Two single-story plans are featured, priced from the low $110,000s. The Bryce has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,126 square feet; and the 1,412-square-foot Sequoia plan offers three bedrooms, two baths and options for a great room, owner retreat and den. Four two-story designs are available, priced from the low $130,000s. Offering three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths are the Ponderosa with 1,623 square feet and an optional loft; the 1,754-square-foot Spring plan; and the Kyle model with 1,783 square feet. The 2,011-square-foot Stillwater residence features four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a two-car garage, and an optional loft and bonus room. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Craig Road, head east to Decatur Boulevard, turn north and follow the signs. Sales office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
