The Villages at Southern Highlands reports strong sales

Since its grand opening in 1999, the builders and planners of Southern Highlands have set out to develop an impressive master-planned community in the southwestern valley, according to Garry Goett, president of Southern Highlands Development Corp.

Three years later, The Villages at Southern Highlands reports strong residential sales figures. As of this month, more than 3,000 homes have been released and sold in several neighborhoods within the 2,300-acre community.

"The convenient and prestigious location, sophisticated design and award-winning home plans draw people to Southern Highlands. The lifestyle we offer, combined with fair prices and low interest rates, have persuaded them to buy now," Goett said.

The Villages showcases designs by several Southern Nevada builders in more than 20 neighborhoods. Prices range from the $130,000s to the $400,000s.

Tour maps of the community may be obtained at any of the community's neighborhoods. To visit, take Interstate 15 south to Lake Mead Drive and exit west, following the signs. Models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
