Summerfield draws builder's employees as home buyers
Pulte Homes' employees Randy Anflick, Rudy Romano, Brandon Perry and Jeremy Jackson will soon be neighbors at one of the builder's new neighborhoods, Summerfield in The Vistas village in Summerlin. Anflick, a customer service manager, and his wife, June, purchased a 1700 plan and will move in a few weeks. "Since I work for Pulte Homes, I know firsthand what great quality homes they build, and when June and I decided to purchase a new home, we knew it would be a Pulte," Anflick said. "We chose the 1700 plan because of its open, airy floor plan and its great Summerlin location." Perry, a superintendent, and Romano, a financial analyst, also purchased the 1700 plan. "The plan is very livable, and I especially like the great room. My wife, Maren, and I are really looking forward to living in Summerfield. It's very `up and coming' and we are eager to be near all of the wonderful amenities Summerlin has to offer," Perry said. Romano and his friend Lacey Evans said the design was the "perfect fit" for them. "Everything was just right," Romano said. "The floor plan, the location, the price -- it made our decision very easy." Jeremy Jackson, a superintendent, and his wife, Joni, had similar feelings about the 1890 plan. "We are so excited to move into our new home and start our family. Joni is expecting a baby this fall and we thought the 1890 was laid out just perfectly. It was a good-size home for a small family. We really like the layout, and the way all the rooms are separated to create privacy when we have guests," Jackson said. All mentioned the homes' energy-efficient features. "Being a superintendent for Pulte Homes, I see firsthand the quality and the energy-efficient features Pulte puts into every home," Jackson said. Homes were constructed with the builder's Platinum Series Environments for Living technology, have received the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star label, and offer a three-year heating and cooling guarantee. Summerfield features three two-story floor plans. Named for its square footage, the 1583 plan has three bedrooms, a formal dining room, covered porch and two-car garage. The master bedroom offers a sitting area and walk-in closet. It is priced from $205,990. Measuring 1,700 square feet, the 1700 plan has three bedrooms and a computer loft upstairs, and a great room and kitchen on the main floor. The home starts at $214,990. The 1890 plan is a three-bedroom design measuring 1,890 square feet. Features include a great room, dining room or parlor, outside entrance arcade, covered porch and optional loft. It is priced from $225,990. To visit, take Interstate 215 to Far Hills Drive, go west to Carriage Hill Drive and turn left. Turn left on Park Vista Drive and follow the signs. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at noon.
