The Mirella, Rosetta, Sorrento and Marcello range from 1,854 to 2,418 square feet and offer three to five bedrooms, with options for offices, dens, bedrooms and family rooms.

Features include upgraded wiring, soft-water loops, art niches, upgraded paint, woodwork stained in white enamel, and raised-panel doors. In addition, each home comes standard with maple kitchen cabinets with European hinges and rollout shelves.

The neighborhood contains Mediterranean-style touches such as shutters and wrought iron. Upon buildout, it will feature 165 residences.

The Villages at Southern Highlands features homes from a variety of builders. Prices start from the $170,000s to the $600,000s.

Community amenities include parks, schools, a fire station and retail center.

Tour maps of the community are available at sales offices, which are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. To visit, take Interstate 15 to Henderson/Lake Mead exit, head west and follow the signs.
