Pulte joins holiday celebration

Pulte Homes is offering two-for-one admission coupons for the "Red, White and Boom!" Fourth of July Celebration to be held at Desert Breeze Skate Park on Sunday, July 4.

The annual event, organized by Clark County's Parks and Community Services, features a carnival with games and rides, exhibits, food booths and entertainment that includes a 20-minute fireworks show. Pop group Sugar Ray will headline the event, which is expected to attract more than 30,000 people.

Festivities get under way at 4 p.m. at the park, 8275 W. Spring Mountain Road, Las Vegas.

Admission is $5, with children younger than 5 admitted free.

The builder, which is a co-sponsor of the holiday celebration, will have the coupons available at all of its new-home subdivisions starting today. Sales offices are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at noon.

Pulte offers 22 new-home subdivisions in Southern Nevada including Silverstone Ranch and Wyeth Ranch in the northwest; Serenata, Treviso, Pavona and Salerno in North Las Vegas; Paradiso, Miramonte, Escala, Palomar and Cordova in Summerlin; and Amber Ridge at Mission Hills, and Anthem Highlands in Henderson.

Based in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., the builder operates in more than 40 markets nationwide. Its Del Webb brand is a leading builder of age-qualified communities. It also has a mortgage division.
