Mountain Spa debuts first phase
Phase one of the 630-acre Mountain Spa residential development in the northwestern valley is nearing completion with six homes ready for move-in and the release of 79 lots. The sales staff began offering tours of the lots and homes yesterday. The lots being released align the community's golf course and are priced from $162,000. Owners may design a custom home or customize plans from one of the six finished homes, measuring from 3,000 to 5,400 square feet and priced from $560,000. "The homes up for sale at Mountain Spa reflect our commitment to creating a premier community with stunning views of the mountains and our championship golf course," sales agent Barbara Zucker said. "Gourmet kitchens with ... appliances, granite counter tops and marble floors are just some of the upgrades that are a standard feature in these spectacular homes." The 27-hole SilverStone Golf Club, designed by Robert Cupp, is open for public play and tee times are available. Planned amenities include a 25,000-square-foot clubhouse, tennis courts, banquet facilities, equestrian activities, a spa and resort, concierge services for residents, and restaurants. "We're taking the dream of unique luxury living in Las Vegas and turning it into a physical reality," Rob Tuvell, director of marketing, said. "Creating more than merely a place to call home, Mountain Spa is a lifestyle." The community is located in the foothills of the Sheep Mountains. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Durango Drive, go northeast to Racel Street then go east to Buffalo Drive. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
