Mill Creek residents enjoy scenery
The reputation of Pulte Homes and the parks in Lynbrook attracted Todd Covington and his family to the builder's Mill Creek neighborhood in the northwestern valley. "Our family just moved from Austin, Texas, and knew of the Pulte name and reputation, so we decided to look at Pulte communities here. We aren't use to the master plan concept being from Texas and really liked Lynbrook for the beautiful parks and land planning," he said. The neighborhood features two single-story floor plans with split-bedroom designs and three two-story plans with as many as seven bedrooms. The floor plans range from 2,300 to 3,589 square feet and are priced from $190,000s. "Pulte offers floor plans to fit various lifestyles," Joe Whatley, vice president of sales and marketing, said. "Mill Creek is praised for its floor plans that are designed for today's active families with spacious master suites, lofts and game room features among others." Three floor plans are modeled. The single-story Sea Breeze model offers 2,300 square feet, four bedrooms with an owner suite, 2 1/2 baths, a two-car and tandem garage or an optional three-car garage, 2 1/2 baths, kitchen with nook, and optional recreation room. The two-story Marina offers 3,007 square feet, a first-floor owner suite, three bedrooms upstairs, and a loft or optional fifth bedroom. Other features include an optional deck and extended patio cover, formal living and dining areas, a dining nook overlooking the family room, and three-car garage. With 3,589 square feet, the Del Ray allows home buyers to convert the home's five bedrooms and game room into seven bedrooms. Its first floor includes formal living and dining areas, an island kitchen with a nook and pantry, family room, laundry room, and bedroom with full bath. The second floor has a loft, game room, three bedrooms, full bath, and owner suite with a separate tub and shower and walk-in closet. Each home includes Category 5e wiring, front-yard landscaping, covered patio, covered front porch and/or courtyard (per plan), and prewiring for a garage door opener and security system. The interiors feature vaulted ceilings and art niches (per plan); ceramic-tile flooring in the entry; six-panel doors; and prewiring for ceiling fans, telephones and cable television. The kitchens offer cabinets with concealed hinges and roll-out trays, built-in gas ranges, dishwashers, built-in microwaves, double sinks, solid surface counter tops, and recessed lighting (per plan). The homes have acquired the Engineered for Life Gold Series-Guarantee for such energy efficiency features as ground-mounted air-conditioning units, gas heat and blown-in insulation. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Ann Road, head east to Jones Boulevard, then go north about four miles to Farm Road and follow the signs. The models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Monday, when they open at noon.
