Anthem Country Club opens new neighborhood

Anthem Country Club, part of Del Webb Corp.'s 5,000-acre Anthem master plan in Henderson, opens its Auburn neighborhood Saturday.

The neighborhood features 49 home sites showcasing designs from the Romantic Collection, which contains five floor plans ranging from 2,725 to 5,095 square feet.

"The Romantic Collection has such a diverse selection of home plans, each distinctive, in its own right," Bob Rademacher, vice president of sales and marketing, said. "Many of these plans have basement, casita, and second-story options, not to mention a choice of exterior elevations and colors. The possibilities are practically endless."

The community's championship, par-72 golf course, designed by PGA golfer Hale Irwin and architect Keith Foster, measures 7,300 yards and contains as many as five tee boxes. Equity and executive (nonresident) golf memberships are available.

A 13,700-square-foot athletic club offers exercise equipment, aerobics, swimming, basketball, sand volleyball and tennis. The facility also includes a full-service salon, lap and resort-style pools, a wading pool, and spa.

Custom-home sites are also available and offer views of the city, mountains or golf course. The sites range from $150,000 to more than $1 million.

Anthem Country Club offers four series of homes: the Impressionist, Baroque, Romantic and Renaissance collections. Homes are priced from the $190,000s to more than $1 million.

To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway. Sales office and model hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
