Select Henderson homes available for quick move-ins

Glengarry provides a level of luxury within the Anthem master-planned community in Henderson, according to Thomas Isbell, an executive with home builder Lennar.

"Now that our new model homes are open, home buyers can experience the ... elegance we've designed into every Glengarry home," he said.

Prices start from the $300,000s. Select residences are available for quick move-ins.

There are five available floor plans, including a 1,270-square-foot single-level design and four two-story plans that range from 1,615 to 2,458 square feet.

The builder helps buyers coordinate interior elements of design.

"Each home buyer will select from a series of professional, designer-developed interior packages that match paint colors, appliances, maple or cherry cabinetry, flooring, hardware, lighting and more. ... Our new homeowners also have a selection of professionally designed landscape packages for their front yard," he said.

Located within the Anthem Highlands area of the master plan, the neighborhood backs up to the Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area. The Bureau of Land Management's plan for the area includes a paved entrance road, hiking trails and an interpretive center.

The single-level Carnegie model comes with three bedrooms, two baths, a formal living room, dining room and family room.

The home features a recessed front entry with a covered porch, 9-foot ceilings, bay windows in the dining room, a U-shaped kitchen with bar counter seating, and a 240-square-foot covered rear patio.

The two-story Turnberry measures 2,458 square feet with four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a loft and covered patio. The double-door entry opens to a foyer, and the main living space is highlighted by an angled wall with a two-sided fireplace that separates the formal living area from the family room.

The island kitchen features a nook with a French door leading outside. A storage space is under the staircase. Upstairs, the master suite bath includes a veranda, dual walk-in wardrobes, a separate tub and shower, and separate toilet room.

All of the homes are built to Energy Star standards and are covered by a 10-year home warranty program.

To visit, take the Las Vegas Beltway to Eastern Avenue, go south, past St. Rose Parkway, to Anthem Parkway and turn left. Follow the road several miles to Bicentennial Parkway and turn left, then left again on Democracy Drive and follow the signs. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily except Fridays, when they open at noon.
