Turnberry Place developer blends valley views, luxurious amenities

Living near the Strip in a residence with luxurious amenities and views of the city's skyline has put Turnberry Place on the map as one of the most sought after high-rise residential developments in the country, according to a company executive.

"We are building one of the most exciting residential projects in the country," vice president of sales John Riordan said. "It has been extremely well received and residents are enjoying the Turnberry lifestyle."

The $650 million condominium development offers residents VIP services and a low-maintenance lifestyle. Among the amenities offered at the guard-gated development are room, limousine and concierge services; valet parking; 24-hour security; and membership to the Stirling Club.

The private club features casual and formal dining, a lounge with piano bar, a nightclub, billiards room, wine and cigar room, business center and library. Its 30,000-square-foot antiaging European spa offers a virtual-reality system, beauty salon, saunas, steam baths, a Pilates studio, pools and fitness center. Additionally, there is an outdoor pool with a bar.

"Living at Turnberry Place is like being a VIP at a five-star hotel," Riordan said. "The difference is at Turnberry you are the owner and can live here year-round."

Ten floor plans ranging from 1,550 to 10,000 square feet are available.

They are priced from $500,000 to more than $5.25 million.

Amenities include Italian marble spa tubs, granite-topped kitchen cabinetry, Sub-Zero and Gaggenau appliances, 9- and 10-foot ceilings, and wraparound glass balconies.

Each residence is accessible by a programmed elevator key that leads to a private lobby.

Upon completion in late 2005, the development will have four 40-story towers. Two towers are completed and construction is under way on a third, which is more than 70 percent sold.

It is being developed by Florida-based Turnberry Associates.

Visitors can tour a 2,825-square-foot model residence that simulates the view from the 27th floor of two of the towers.

The sales pavilion, located at 2777 Paradise Road, is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
