Corte Madera homes nearly sold out

Only a few homes remain for sale at Corte Madera, according to Tony Lucero, a sales agent for the townhome development being built by Perennial Homes in North Las Vegas.

"Las Vegas home buyers have one last opportunity to buy a new home in the most affordable community in North Las Vegas. After all, there aren't many places in Southern Nevada where new-home buyers can buy at last year's prices with as little as $1,000 down," Lucero said.

Qualified buyers can take advantage of a builder incentive that triples the buyer's 1 percent down payment.

"The homeowner receives the benefit of a full 3 percent down payment ... even though they only put 1 percent down," Lucero said. "That is an amazing deal when you figure that 2 percent is a bonus $2,000 that goes directly to a new homeowners equity in a home."

Two designs are available.

The Mesa Verde is a two-story, 1,226-square-foot home with three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. It also includes a two-car garage. This model is priced at $105,990.

The Sedona residence is a two-story, 1,230-square-foot townhome with three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a one-car garage. It starts at $98,990.

Every home comes with a refrigerator, washer and dryer, window coverings and a security system.

Community amenities include landscaped common areas, a swimming pool and recreation center.

Each home includes a 10-year limited warranty and a one-year comprehensive warranty.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Rancho Drive and proceed north. Turn east on Lake Mead Drive, then south on Simmons Street, turning east on Coran Lane. The sales center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
