Christopher opens $4.5 million model home

Christopher Homes has completed construction of a $4.5 million custom model home in Summerlin. The 10,000-square-foot home, situated on a three-quarter-acre lot adjacent to the TPC at The Canyons golf course, is a product of the builder's custom-home division.

J. Christopher Stuhmer, chairman of Christopher Homes and a longtime builder of luxury homes in Las Vegas, said the two-story home is "a one-of-a-kind showpiece" for prospective clients and will serve as the division's sales center.

"This is undoubtedly the most luxurious model home ever built in Southern Nevada," Stuhmer said. "Every aspect of this home was considered numerous times by a team of design experts, and the result is a luxurious custom residence with a floor plan that works."

The home is located within the builder's guard-gated Bellacere neighborhood and showcases the latest concepts in custom living and technology.

Inside are unique furnishings, fabrics, textures, finishes and accessories from around the world. Additional highlights include a dual staircase, a climate-controlled wine cellar, indoor and outdoor wet bars, wood accents, and marble and stone flooring. Also included is an exercise room and a home theater.

The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, cherry wood cabinetry, granite surfaces, multiple food preparation islands and a buffet.

An interior courtyard encompasses the swimming pool and spa; water features; a covered area with a fireplace, barbecue and wet bar; and mature landscaping. A balcony overlooks the pool, and a terrace provides additional space for entertaining.
