LandWell golf tourney raises record amount
-- The eighth annual LandWell Company Cure Asthma Golf Classic, held last week at the Rio Secco Golf Club in Henderson, raised a record $107,000 with 144 golfers participating in the sell-out event. Proceeds benefit the Denver-based National Jewish Medical and Research Center. -- Kristi Owens of Countrywide Commercial Investments represented D.R. Horton Homes in its purchase of 175 acres on the southwest corner of Durango Drive and Blue Diamond Road from E.A. Collins Development Corp., represented by Territory Inc., for $14 million. -- GVA Industrial Property Group's Dean Willmore and Alisa Castillo represented both parties in Granite Construction Corp.'s two-year lease of 2,504 square feet at 4055 E. Post Road from Stone Crab for $52,889. -- CB Richard Ellis' Derek Rafie represented LMG in its purchase of 4.35 acres at the northeast corner of Windy Road and Arby Avenue from Kaercher, Gurola, Doroshaw Trust for $1.3 million. In another transaction, Paul Hoyt and Kevin Higgins represented Koll Valley View in its three-year lease of 5,788 square feet at 6125 S. Valley View Blvd. to Respicare for $150,000. Higgins also represented Terra Grandis in its two-year lease of 14,894 square feet at 4301 S. Valley View Blvd. to Mellano & Co. for $150,000. Bill Dunbar and George Okinaka represented Charleston Auto Care Plaza in its five-year lease of 1,368 square feet at 10247 W. Charleston Blvd. to Papa John's Pizza for $215,000. Darren Lemmon and Randy Broadhead represented Lawyers Title of Nevada in its five-year lease of 3,054 square feet from Juliet Office Park at 8335 W. Flamingo Road for $300,000. -- E.
