Pardee expands into luxury markets

Pardee Homes has maintained a strong presence in Southern Nevada, building homes for more than 25,000 families in the valley since 1952, according to marketing executive Joyce Mason.

The builder offers 13 neighborhoods in a range of prices throughout the valley. Communities under development include Eldorado in North Las Vegas, Shadow Mountain Ranch in the southwestern valley and Rancho Las Palmas in the southeastern valley. The company also builds in master-planned communities such as Summerlin.

Its Renaissance neighborhood in the Seven Hills community in Henderson marks the introduction of the company's highest-end homes in the valley, according to Mason.

"Pardee is known for its high-end products in Los Angeles and San Diego, and we believe this is the right product in the right place to offer the same kind of luxury in Southern Nevada," she said. "(The homes) are among the finest Pardee has ever offered anywhere in the country."

The gated neighborhood features terraced home sites and five models, measuring from about 2,700 to 4,686 square feet. The homes are designed with rotunda and courtyard entries, butler's pantries, balconies, fireplaces, high ceilings, and arched doorways.

Design options include bedroom suites, bay windows, French doors, wrought-iron balustrades on staircases, lofts, game rooms and bars.

Kitchens feature ceramic-tile counter tops, oak cabinetry, pantries, built-in microwaves and ovens, dishwashers, and options for higher-grade appliances.

Buyers may select options and upgrades through the builder's design center.

Prices start from the low $300,000s.

"Pardee is continuing its tradition of building energy-efficient, money-saving homes with Renaissance," Mason said. "Features are included that meet the very highest standards of energy efficiency to merit the coveted Energy Star seal and the ComfortWise designation."

According to the builder, benefits include cost savings in utilities; quieter homes due to the installation of vinyl-framed windows; and a decrease in ultraviolet light through special window glass.

To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, turn right on Grand Hills Drive and follow the signs.

The sales office and models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.
