Agent touts location of Vistana complex



Vistana at Rhodes Ranch, a condominium development, is located in one of the valley's best areas for home appreciation, according to sales agent Rebecca Matsis, citing a recent report by SalesTraq.

The zip code in which Vistana is located -- 89113 -- was the "No. 3 top area for home price appreciation in the Las Vegas Valley between March 2001 and February 2002," Matsis said.

"This report confirmed what we are hearing from our home buyers in Vistana. This has become a very desirable area for Southern Nevada home buyers. The master planning of the Rhodes Ranch community (also) enhances home values."

She said another factor is the price of the homes.

"With only $1,000 needed to purchase a new home at Vistana, this is the time to buy before it is really too late," she said.

The homes are priced from the mid-$70,000s to the mid-$130,000s, and each includes an appliance package and window coverings.

Three floor plans feature one bedroom and one bath with 670 to 796 square feet; five plans offer two bedrooms and two baths with 847 to 1,200 square feet; and one plan contains three bedrooms and two baths in 1,413 square feet.

Shared amenities include a pool, spa and fitness center. A second pool is nearly completed, and another water amenity is planned.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Durango Drive, and go south Warm Springs Road. The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
